Recently, a group of scientists discovered the existence of an inner core hidden in the Earth. This discovery happened after some earthquakes. When measuring seismic waves, as a way to understand the frequency of earthquakes, scientists came to the hypothesis that there is a new core on the planet, that is, there is a new layer inside it. Today, we are listing some surveys about this new core.

The hidden inner core has been found

    • The discovery of the new inner core of the Earth

It is necessary to highlight that the new hidden core of the Earth was found after several earthquakes were recorded. That’s because scientists did research to measure seismic waves, but ended up “accidentally” bumping into a new layer inside the planet.

This new layer has been evaluated and described as a new, previously undiscovered core of the Earth.

This will be a hidden solid core that will be hidden for decades by a layer of metal.

The discovery shows that all kinds of natural phenomena are very important, as they make it possible to find new formations on the planet. Of course, this is also because the equipment used by seismologists is extremely capable of finding such changes in the inner layer of the Earth.

The hidden inner core provides Earth scientists with a new way to understand how Earth’s magnetic field works Land has been formed. Added to this, it brings a new way of seeing the planet’s interior composition, because there is now a new layer to consider and better analyze.

This core is metallic and has a diameter of 644 kilometers and a depth of 1,600 kilometers, and it consists of a mixture of iron and nickel. The same was not discovered in previous research, as it is very similar to the liquid core layer, which has always been considered, but it contains anisotropic materials that remain to be studied.
