Mama Kerry’s puppy was found hiding under a car. The person who found her was moved to see her in this position. He was even more moved when he found out she was pregnant. Without delay, he rescued her and took her to the Hearts & Bones Rescue animal shelter, located in Texas, United States.
There, the volunteers assured the man that the dog and her puppies would be very well supported. And it wasn’t long before Mama gave birth in the cozy shelter. The pups were born healthy and the dog proved to be an attentive and caring mother.
Hearts & Bones Rescue’s Katherine Heber said dodo.
Pets who have long wandered the streets on their own love to be pampered by their rescuers. Receive affection with itself! And the show too! She loves to lick those who show her tenderness.
“She’s very affectionate, so if you’re around, she’ll let you know how much she loves being around you with a kiss or a shake of a paw,” Heber said.
In the midst of so much showing of affection, she doesn’t forget her dogs! Although she is an obedient mother, she does not mind receiving a little outside help. Indeed, any help is welcome. She loves to hold her paw while breastfeeding.
“Kerry is very confident and has never been overly protective. She allows us to babysit her dogs so we can weigh them and make sure they all grow up healthy.”
And that confidence is because she knows the people out there want her very well. For this reason, they do not object to the volunteers handling the chicks. However, they cannot be away from her for long, she is anxious and mad to see them.
“She obviously really loves her dogs and just wants to be around them,” Heber said.

The family is currently in foster care. But once they are fit, they will be made available for adoption.
