President UkraineOn Monday evening (26), Volodymyr Zelensky urged Ukrainians to prepare for new Russian missile attacks, and therefore heed the sirens.

“Don’t forget to prepare for missile strikes or Russian provocations. The air defense is preparing, the state is preparing, and everyone must prepare. Please pay attention to the sirens,” he said.

In his usual evening address, the Ukrainian president said the situation on the front line was “difficult and dangerous”, with the Russians using “all the resources at their disposal – and they are significant – to achieve at least some progress”.

Zelensky thanked his army for holding their positions “firmly” and not only for not losing “anything” of land, but for expelling the occupiers.

Regarding the electricity supply, which has been severely affected by the continuous Russian attacks, the Ukrainian President explained that this afternoon, about 9 million people were disconnected from the grid throughout Ukraine.

In this sense, he thanked all those working in the companies in the sector who were able to save more energy in the last days of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, despite them being holidays.

In his speech, Zelensky spoke about the phone conversation he had with the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, who in 2023 will take over the presidency of the G20, which he hopes will be “fruitful, not for anyone in particular, but for all of those.” Who values world peace.”

“India can be more active in efforts to end aggression, so I hope we can do more together for global stability next year,” he stressed.
