Actress Sofia Valverde, 17, tonight announced the end of her contract with SBT after nearly 10 years. The artist leaves the station yet a novel Poliana Muca, in which she plays the protagonist of the series.
In an Instagram post, the actress made sure to thank everyone who was a part of her career on the station.
Today my contract with SBT ended. SBT was where I started my acting career. My gratitude also to everyone in the production (there were many), cameras, lighting crew, rule breaker, sound crew, lighting, casting coaches, Rosinha assistants, gratitude To Helena (for doing so many tours with me for SBT and for having accompanied me on many recordings of other shows at home) and her team, people from the SongFrom the choreography team, costume designers, hair and makeup team, sewing staff, water, chauffeurs, SBT security, food court staff, to my colleagues from all series,” she said.
In the statement, Sophia highlighted how she had fun years during her time on the station. “Thinking of the wonderful people who enjoyed being together, working together and laughing so much at so many things…especially Pedra who always told me stories about his life kkkkk! How am I going to miss all of this,” he said.
However, she stressed that the artist’s life is surrounded by changes and various works, which is why she says goodbye to SBT. “But that’s the way to live as an artist: one day you’re in a production and the next day in another. You live out different personalities throughout your career.”
Sofia said she is very grateful for these 10 years of working at the station and said she trusts God with the next steps in her career.
“I am so thankful because I know that until now it has been God who has been taking care of me and guiding me in such a beautiful way. And I am placing my future in His hands, believing that He will put in my path only what will be good for me and my family.”
She also thanked the fans of “Pollyanna Mocha” and said she loved the viewers. “Thank you to everyone who watches the series and sends me sweet messages full of love every day. I love you and thank you for always being by my side and supporting me.”
Finally, Sofia reflected that the end of the contract opens up new opportunities in her career, so that she can try new experiences and jobs.
“The end of the decade is not the end of new possibilities. Rather, it is the beginning of new experiences and achievements. This cycle that ends today does not prevent me from returning, because I know that the doors will open. Good and happy memories will be eternal.”
At the end of the advertisement, the series in which SBT has acted are listed. Among them are “Chiquititas” (2013), “Cúmplices de Um Resgate” (2015), “As Aventuras de Poliana” (2017) and “Polyana Moça”.
