    The latest update for The WhatsApp, which is only available in beta for Android users, will change the way videos are recorded on the platform and promises to make life easier for those who have the app installed.     The camera mode is similar to the functions available on Instagram

    Currently, to record videos on WhatsApp, you have to tap on the screen and wait for the button to turn red. With the camera mode, a new update in the testing phase of WhatsApp, it will be possible to record videos of up to 30 seconds without having your finger pressed on the screen for all this time.

    Now, the camera mode will adopt functions already in Instagram, known as hands-free mode, where you only need to tap once on the screen and the cell phone keeps the recording alone.

    Another function in the testing phase, which will help in recording videos on the platform, is the ability to switch between the front and rear cameras without stopping or ending the video, which is the current playback mode.

    A new update for WhatsApp “Camera Mode”, an app from the Meta Group, is in development. Therefore, the testing phase is only available for the beta version of WhatsApp, 2.22.24.21, only on Android OS devices.

    For now, just update the app on the Google Play Store and access the new feature, which can be used to record statuses or in private conversations.
