Porsche has just launched, in Brazil, a special and limited edition of the 718: the Porsche 718 Boxster Style Edition and the Porsche 718 Cayman Style Edition.
mid-drive, both featuring a unique design that begins with the Ruby Star Neo colorway, a modern Ruby Star reinterpretation of the legendary 964 generation 911 Carrera RS. Other colors are also available.
Suggested prices for the Porsche 718 Style Edition are R$519K (Boxster) and R$539K (Cayman).
Exclusive details of the 718 Style Edition
The new variants of the Porsche 718 contain details that confirm the exclusivity of the Special Edition.
Although configured in different shades of Ruby Star Neo, both the Boxster and Cayman feature 20-inch 718 Spyder wheels in high-gloss black with the brand’s painted shield.
The exhaust ports, in turn, are black and the rear has “Porsche” written in high-gloss silver.
On the 718 Boxster Style Edition, the embossed “Boxster” lettering above the side windows has been added to the soft-top as a unique detail.
Customers can choose from two contrasting Porsche 718 Style Edition packages (one black and one white) for the wheels, decorative strips on the trunk lid and “Porsche” trim on the side.
Inside, Style Edition models feature a black leather trim with chalk contrast stitching, illuminated stainless steel door sills, and Porsche Crest on the headrests.
Porsche 718 Style Edition adds exclusive content
The 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman Style Edition models come standard with bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, front and rear ParkAssist assist with reversing camera, Apple CarPlay, adaptive cruise control, and auto-dimming exterior and interior mirrors.
In addition, there is a rain sensor, a soft leather multifunction steering wheel with a heating function, seats with a heating function, two-zone automatic climate control and power steering.
The engine is the same as for the coupe and convertible.
In terms of engine and chassis, this Posscre 718 special series features the same 2-liter central boxer engine. The automatic transmission has dual 7-speed.
The turbocharged four-cylinder engine produces 300 horsepower and 38.7 kilograms of torque. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.7 seconds, and the top speed is [e de 275km/h.
