The Ukrainian government urged residents to “limit” electricity consumption after Russia attacked power facilities in several regions.

“We will ask you to limit electricity consumption. Also during peak hours – from 5 pm to 11 pm – please do not turn on energy-intensive appliances,” Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Chmygal urged.

The Ukrainian leader referred to “electric dishes and electric kettles” or “radiators, ovens, irons, microwaves, coffee makers, washing machines and dishwashers.”

“This is very important for the stable performance of our power system” To repair damaged infrastructure, he said, since Monday, Ukraine has been the target of several Russian attacks on energy facilities, in response to the partial destruction of the Crimean bridge.

“But we are united and we will stand firm,” the minister emphasized, stressing that Ukrainians had already reduced electricity consumption by 10% on Sunday, responding to the same appeal by the authorities.

Chmygal is so welcomed “The electricity supply has stabilized in the regions”citing the Kharkiv region (Northeast).
