A traumatic event, related to a UK client, went viral again on social media recently.

As reported by The Mirror, a man was asked to “leave” a supermarket after an employee did not like the way he shopped.

In the dire condition, Matthew Scholes said he visited the trading establishment in England to make his routine purchases.

At the scene, he said he was followed by an employee with a wallet, who approached him while holding a bottle of liquor and said, “I’ve seen you here before” and “I want you to leave the store now.”

After complaining to the company, he emailed him from Asda Executive Relations: “I spoke to the store’s leadership team who told me they didn’t like the way you shop.”

The company said its workers can ask shoppers to leave if they suspect “suspicious buying behaviour”.

Matthew said the incident has had a very negative impact, as he is constantly looking for someone to look at as he enters other supermarkets.
