On Monday (12), the exact date for the availability of the new iOS 16 will arrive – It became official during the event on September 7 – For compatible iPhones. However, not all mobile phone models will be covered by the maximum amount of resources that the system can provide.
Some features will require an A12 Bionic chip or higher – such as background blur on objects for apps like Photos, Screenshot, Quick View, and Safari. The component was released with the iPhone XS in 2018.
Also in this example, new Japanese, Korean, and Ukrainian languages are included for capturing live text, as well as the ability to end a call with Siri. The camera app also needs the component or back to make calls, sign in to websites, convert currencies, and translate languages from photos.
Other features will require at least an iPhone 12 or later – such as a magnifying glass detection mode. In the case of more realistic background blur in portraits, the improvements made to Cinema Mode come exclusively to the iPhone 13 family. In contrast, 4K Cinema Mode and Motion Mode can only be enjoyed on the latest iPhone .14 family.
This means iPhone 8 users, for example, will be able to update the device to iOS 16 starting Monday, but the news won’t be limited to newer models.
