Mariana says she tried to charge the Kindle, but the device showed a sign of poor connectivity. “I gave it a few clicks, and decided to blow into the device, which is our solution to everything electronic. It blew up, and when I saw that, a lot of ants came out,” he told Globo TV.

She says she left the device aside, because she thought it was permanently damaged. The story spread on the Internet, after a friend of the writer published a post on one of the social networks.
Then people suggested that she put the equipment in the freezer to kill the ants. I followed the advice and the problem was solved.

Technical expert Walker de Alencar explains that the ants may have caused the short circuits that led to the purchases.
