Ricky Martin won the Legal dispute against nephew Denis Yadiel Sanchez After being accused of incest and abuse. According to information released Thursday (21), a family member asked a Puerto Rican judge to close the case.

“Accused [Sánchez] He assured the court that the decision to close the case was his alone without any external influence or pressure. This complaint was never more than a troubled individual making false claims without anything to back them up. “We are delighted that our client has seen justice served and is now able to move forward with his life and career,” Martin’s legal team said in a statement sent to TMZ.

This Thursday, a judge’s hearing in the case was held to decide whether or not the restraining order in favor of Sanchez v. Martin will be extended. The court rejected the request and dropped the case.

On Instagram, Martin shared the note about the victory and wrote: “Truth prevails.” The artist also informed fans that he will maintain his concert schedule and will perform in Los Angeles, USA on Friday (22) and Saturday (23).

The allegations against Martin were revealed earlier this month, but Sanchez’s identity was revealed last week. Initial reports of the case stated that Martin and his nephew were in a relationship For seven months, but the former Menudo would not accept the termination, and, accordingly, he would begin to persecute a family member.

From the start of the case, Martin called the allegations false and “disgusting.” If the allegations were confirmed by the court, the singer could have received a sentence of 50 years in prison.
