As Marco Varani represents the country with international organisations, the potential for promoting ethnic and eco-tourism in the state to encourage investments is enormous.

“Tourism generates many jobs and opportunities for our residents. Since I took office, I have always intended to value this sector of our economy. However, with the global COVID-19 pandemic, we are paralyzed by health restrictions. Now we will reclaim that time with the help of international organizations that can invest in Our state. In this sense, Ambassador Marco Varani will be able to help us by building bridges with investors interested in the Amazon region,” said the governor.

Another aspect raised by the ruler with Marco Varani concerns agricultural trade.

Acre has huge tourism potential and we are in talks with a tour company in London to set up high quality programs of indigenous village areas that are sure to interest European travelers. The diplomat stressed that I had previously held another meeting with the governor on this issue, and we are reactivating this contact in order to obtain practical and immediate results for the residents of Acre.
