    The WhatsApp messaging app is bringing some minor changes to the interface when creating text status updates.

    After releasing a new end-to-end coding footer, WhatsApp is now releasing minor interface changes for text status updates, available to some Android beta testers who are installing the latest app updates.

    As you can see in the screenshot, WhatsApp is moving an emoji, text, and background color picker to the top of the screen, so the section is now the same we have in WhatsApp for iOS.
