“Today we started the first set very well. Then we ended up losing control of the match a little bit at the start of the second, where they broke in the first serve match. In the tiebreak I think we played a lot better. The start. We were able to take the lead there,” he explained Marcelo.
“The conditions were different from last week’s final, when we played practically indoors. We went back to playing outside, with other conditions, but it was good. Another match. Now is the time to go to the next.”
Both ATP 250s, which open the circuit, are considered preparations for the Australian Open. The first major tournament of the year will be held from 17-30 of this month in Melbourne.
