    With the arrival of the stable AOSP version of Android 12, the active members are always in XDA Community Continuing to develop custom ROMs for the most diverse mobile phones.

    At the time of writing this article, the system has been unofficially made available for devices like OnePlus 5 and even more Redmi mobile devices in addition to the aforementioned K20 Pro / Mi 9T Pro.

    Now, owners of Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8T as well as Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max can now access the following links to download their device’s ROMs. Compatible GApps are also now available (Download here) If you need Google apps and services.

    Starting with Android 12 GSI, a custom ROM created by developer AndyYan based on the simplest version of the system. It can basically be installed on any Project Treble compatible device that has the Bootloader unlocked, as this is a generic system image hence the name GSI.

    If you have a compatible device and you want to install Android 12 GSI on it, just access the thread available on XDA to check out more instructions and details about the system, which actually works even with the initial version released.

    The second custom ROM based on Android 12 has been created by developer abhishk987 and is available for Redmi K20 and Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro.

    As you can see below, it has a very simplified look and has themes based on the wallpaper colors by Dynamic Color theme engine was created by developer kdrag0n.

    This was necessary because unfortunately Google has not yet published the “income” code used to create these themes on Android 12, but It is expected to be made available to everyone in the future.

    To install this ROM, it is recommended that you have the latest stable MIUI on the device and because the system is still in the initial development stage, it is not fully functional yet so it is not recommended to use it on your primary mobile for daily use.
