    Design like Monster Hunter.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus will not be an open world game.

Although the trailers showed large areas and suggested a gameplay similar to Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the game design is similar to what Capcom offers in the Monster Hunter series, with a hub and several areas separated by a loading screen.

After speculation surfaced that it might not be an open world game, something that has yet to be officially confirmed, The Pokémon Company Confirm to Kotaku That the structure would not be an open world structure, but rather several large-scale separate areas.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Jubilife Village will serve as a base for investigation missions. After receiving a mission or request and preparing for the next journey, the players will leave the village to study one of the many open areas in the Hisui region.,” the company explained.

“After completing their work, players will have to come back again to prepare for the next mission. We look forward to sharing more information about exploring the Hisui region soon.”

Although not directly mentioned, the Pokémon Company appears to have described the Monster Hunter chassis, taking care of everything in a central location from which you depart for free quests or exploration.
