For noise and temperature measurements taken for comparison, the modified model is just over 1 dB quieter. In thermal measurements made to the console air outlets, the original model is close to 50°C, while the modified model is close to 55°C.
It is important to note that a correct measurement, performed near or directly from the console processor, will result in more accurate numbers.
