In the list, Brazil is mentioned again. This time at Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro, which was ranked 19th best beach in the world.

On social media, the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio), which is responsible for the conservation and protection of the National Marine Park of which Sancho is a part, celebrated the award and praised the beauty of the place and its rich biodiversity.

“In addition to the lush landscape and views of the entire bay, the water in Sancho is very clear, revealing marine life to those watching from above: sharks, manta rays and schools of fish are easily seen. With very curious eyes, pay attention,” he said in a post on Instagram.
