The Universal Studios announced the construction of the first entertainment park in Europe, to be opened in 2031. The project, which will be developed in Bidford, UK, will be the largest entertainment project on the continent, with an area of approximately 3 square kilometers – four times the size of Disneyland Land Paris.
The British government issued the declaration within a moment of strong trade tension between the United Kingdom and the United States. However, Prime Minister Kiir Starmer celebrated the investment of billions of pounds, which is expected to put Bidford Province in the global tourism and entertainment scenario.
The park will be built in an old industrial area called Kempton hardwick BrikKworks, located about 140 km (about one hour by train) from the center of London. It is estimated that 28,000 jobs will be created: 20,000 during the business stage and 8,000 in operations, especially in areas such as creating content, public services and hotels.

Universal Studios UK is expected to receive up to 8.5 million visitors annually. The project also includes a 500 -room hotel and promised to improve local infrastructure, such as renewing a Wixam railway station and building new access ways in the park.
Although no specific attractions are not disclosed yet, Universal usually use its main intellectual properties in the gardens around the world, such as Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, ET and Nintendo Simpsons and their privileges. The company also signed, in 2016, an agreement with Warner Bros. For the rights of Aquan Harry Potter and wonderful animals, which allow the creation of objective areas inspired by the witch's stories in their gardens.
