    – Football associations in the UK, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Ireland have agreed to focus on hosting Euro 2028, the third largest sporting event in the world, after a detailed feasibility study to assess the potential of international football. That is stated in the note.

The report then goes on to describe the reasons for abandoning the World Cup, the world’s largest sporting event, for showing interest in hosting the Euros.

    – In balance, all five associations decided to focus only on hosting Euro 2028 and agreed not to compete in the 2030 World Cup. Running the euro generates similar returns, but with lower costs and potential benefits in the short term – he said. Another part of the note.

So far, four Slates have submitted their official bid to host the 2030 World Cup, with the main contenders being Portugal-Spain and Uruguay-Argentina-Paraguay-Chile. Morocco-Algeria-Tunisia and Greece-Serbia-Bulgaria-Romania run out.
