All vaccinated travelers to the United Kingdom from the United States and the European Union (EU) will be exempted from compliance, except in France. Isolation – Announced by the British Government on Wednesday (28).
The move, claimed by the tourism department, will take effect from dawn on Monday (2), Transport Minister Grant Shops said on Twitter.

For countries classified as “orange” by the majority of tourist destinations such as the European Union and the United States, Britain imposes isolation on travelers for at least five days, in addition to the obligation to take Govt-19 tests.
Passengers vaccinated by the British Health Service have already been released from isolation, but have not received immunizations abroad. This difference caused resentment over the problems created by the return of British foreigners to the country.
Henceforth, the United Kingdom will apply the same dose to people from countries listed as “orange” and to those vaccinated in the European Union or the United States. The exception would be France because of the beta variant.
“Different rules will continue to apply to those coming from France,” the ministry said in a statement.

Passengers who have been vaccinated in US territory must prove that they are residents of the United States. In addition, a PCR test will be mandatory two days after arrival.
These measures do not apply to countries and regions classified as “red” by London (such as India, United Arab Emirates and South America).
