    Petr Yan takes on Merab Dvalishvili this weekend as the heavyweight contenders clash in the main event of UFC Fight Night.

    Former champion Yan, 30, suffered limited decision losses in his last two bouts against successor Aljamin Sterling and rising star Sean O’Malley.

    Losing to O’Malley in October was particularly controversial, but Russian Yan knows he can leave no room for doubt against Dvishvili, who is on an eight-match winning streak.

    The 32-year-old Georgian last competed in August, defeating Jose Aldo with an easy decision to defeat the UFC icon in three rounds.

    Fight Night is set to take place this week at The Theater in Las Vegas.
