    at recent days , a company Cybersecurity Pradeo has detected a couple of malicious apps on the Google Play Store. These apps were removed immediately after the company alerted Google.

    Pradeo researchers determined that these two apps contain Spying programsa form of malware that secretly collects Android users’ private data and sends it to servers located in China.

    It is important that you are aware of this information and understand the actions that can be taken if you download these applications to your device.

    Apps that compromise the security of Android phones

    Initially, these apps were designed to help Android users organize files and data on their devices.

    Pradeo researchers found that these apps secretly collected users’ private data, sending it to servers located in China.

    According to the cybersecurity firm’s report, it was confirmed that these malicious applications did indeed collect a large amount of users’ private information, and share it with servers located in China without people’s knowledge or consent.

    In addition to collecting users’ private information, the hackers responsible for these malicious apps have adopted deceptive strategies to increase their apparent reliability.

    They used install farms, a method in which downloads are artificially inflated, to create the illusion of popularity and reliability.

    Increase the number of downloads It creates a false perception that apps are widely used and trusted, which can increase the possibility that potential victims will install them.

    An additional concern regarding these malicious apps is the fact that they have advanced permissions to hide their icons on the Android home screen. This function makes it difficult for users to locate and uninstall applications.
