British Education Secretary Gavin Williamson has announced that students will be required to wear masks in classrooms from May 17.

With the change – which depends on a closer confirmation of the date, the Secretary of Education says the face care rule will be partially suspended – students will be required to wear masks on corridors and school buses.
Activities such as school testing, increased ventilation and strict hygiene rules will be in place. If social distance rules cannot be maintained within any classroom, the recommendation for students to use masks should also be maintained.

The United Kingdom has made great strides in combating epidemics and child protection in the context of Govt-19. For example, sources close to the UK vaccine campaign say that the vaccine could be given to children starting in August.
Safety information for a critical study of the childhood vaccine conducted by Oxford University is expected to be released in June or July, and ministers will have to decide when young people can be vaccinated.
