The UK has begun to test the attendance of major public events. A test event will take place this Sunday (18th) at Wembley Stadium in London, where one of the FA Cup semi-finals will take place.

The match between Leicester City and Southampton FC can be watched by a total of 4,000 people. The public is represented by less than 5% of the total capacity of the stadium, however, it will be the largest crowd to occupy the stands since the onset of the Kovit-19 epidemic.

Another test event is the World Snooker Championship, which kicks off this Sunday (18th) and will receive restricted spectators over the next two weeks. It is part of the British government’s plan to assess how large events can safely re-occur.

In May, Liverpool Park will host 5,000 people for one event. No one needs to wear safety masks or adhere to social distance. The public will be restricted to residents of the region who are expected to show a negative Govt-19 test at the site entrance.

A week after the concert, everyone will have to be re-tested, and audience contacts will be available to the government’s monitoring committee. If anyone is positive on this second test, everyone will be located and isolated.
