The UK government has announced that about 9 million retirees in England and Wales will get the help of warming in the winter after expanding the income of eligibility. Now all retirees with annual income that reaches 35,000 pounds are entitled to. This procedure guarantees, according to the official statement, that “no low or medium income will be excluded.”

The value will be 200 pounds per house, or 300 pounds when there is a person over 80 years old.

The payment will be automatically and no retirement will need registration. Change represents the cost of about 1.25 billion pounds in England and Wales, but with an economy estimated at 450 million pounds compared to the previous global model.

According to the statement, “The costs will be calculated in the budget and merged into the following expectation of the budget responsibility office.”

The government states that this measure “will not lead to a permanent increase in public debt”, as it will be funded within the current tax rules.

“The decision to make direct payments was difficult, but it is true,” said Finance Minister Rachel Reeves. The scale also intends to provide the ability to predict the beneficiaries. The statement says: “Making these changes now gives people security and ensures timely payments this winter,” the statement says.

The initiative is only valid for England and Wales. Scotland and Northern Ireland will receive a relative transfer, but will define its own policies.
