Rose Nascimento debuted in 2024 as the Queen of Drums at União do Parque Acari, a school of the Ouro chain in Rio de Janeiro. The first year, he was late for the show on Friday the 9th in Sapukai. The next day, Saturday the tenth of this month, he announced his departure from the association.
“My first appearance will always be remembered. Although it was a very special night, today I announce my resignation from the role of Drum Queen of União do Parque de Acari. Her Majesty was late and arrived at the avenue with the school in Sector 2, with the battery falling back to enter Sector 1. She still had to stop there to finish putting on the rest of the uniform.
Rose's delay resulted in the King of Drums, Anderson Reese, dancing alone in the first sector, without His Majesty. União do Parque Acari is one of the few schools that has a couple leading the drums.
