British Minister of Economy, Rachel Reeves, presented her budget plans for the coming years on Wednesday (11), with billions of pounds for health and defense ministries and discounts in foreign volumes and transportation.

“Investing in safety, health and economic growth in the United Kingdom,” Reeves said in a speech to British parliamentarians.

Thanks to the tax increases announced a few months ago, especially the contributions of employers, government budgets will increase by 2.3 % annually in real terms by the end of the contract, Reeves said.

The increase in the defense sector has already been approved, and the UK is planning to increase its military budget to more than 2.6 % of GDP (GDP) by 2027 and 3 % by 2034, at the expense of customization for international development aid.

He received the national health service (national health service, NHS), which has suffered from sorting for years, but is very expensive, on Wednesday a record of 29 billion pounds until 2028-29, which represents an annual increase of 3 %.

Although Reeves did not inspect in detail about the least preferred ministries in his speech, he announced savings of one billion pounds (7.49 billion dollars) in the budget of the applicants for asylum, while the police must be satisfied with an annual increase of 2.3 %, which is the total average.

According to a document published on the government's website at the end of his speech, the ministries whose current budgets will suffer from the largest discounts are foreign relations (7 % decrease to 2029) and transportation (-5 %).
