The data can be viewed at stations across the country, according to the Ministry of Health.

application My Digital SUSfor Ministry of HealthIt will allow healthcare professionals to access unified electronic medical records, with patients’ health history. The data can be accessed during consultation at any point in the service network across the country.

“Until then, the medical record was located in the unit where the user received care. Now this medical record is available at any point in the network throughout Brazil in the context of care. So, when this patient is seen, the specialist will be able to open his medical record and get the information. This guarantees the quality and continuity of care.”Minister of Information and Digital Health Ana Estella Haddad announced on Tuesday (July 16, 2024).

The International Patient Summary was also announced on Tuesday, which will enable people, when travelling internationally, to have the basic data available on My SUS Digital, such as the medications they are using, allergies, among others, for consultation.

Patient data can be shared through the National Health Data Network, which already has more than 1.8 billion records available.

The Ministry of Health also announced on Tuesday the creation of the first telehealth point in the Quilombola territory, in Pará, which will benefit the Quilombola land in Boa Vista.

A telehealth point has also been installed in Complexo da Mare, in Rio de Janeiro, with the team being trained and equipment being sent. The idea is that this will be the basis for expanding the initiative to urban and rural suburbs in other parts of the country.
