Amazing colorful elements associated with nature marked the coronation scene of Charles III.

The parade of King Carlos III’s coronation was a real stellar show, with drones in the mix. Yes, you read that correctly. Between Prince William’s emotional speech in front of his father and grandmother, and performances by singers like Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Andrea Bocelli, there was also room for a memorable surprise light show that made history.

From 10 locations in the UK, around a thousand drones projected various colorful nature-related elements into the sky, while Alexis French and Zack Abel performed a cover of the theme “Don’t Forget Me” by Simple Minds, on the stage installed in Windsor Castle Gardens. The illuminated display was a way to highlight the king’s appreciation and dedication to nature and his commitment to environmental issues.

The company responsible for the light show revealed they were “honored” to “bring the magic of the natural world to life in UK skies”. The aircraft also flew over Cardiff Bay, Blackpool, Sheffield, Newcastle and Belfast and took viewers on a fascinating journey that “explores the beauty of nature and its importance in sustaining life on Earth”.

“Litting up the sky with a thousand drones, this was the biggest show we’ve ever done,” SKYMAGIC said on Instagram.

They added, “The coronation of the King and Queen is a historic moment that encourages us to unite to create a future full of hope for the planet.”
