Sony took advantage of Tuesday morning (02) to announce the first game that will be part of the PS Plus Extra and Deluxe Games catalog. This is Dave the Diver, who will debut on PS5 directly through the service, on April 16.

The information came in a publication dated PlayStation Blog. According to director Jaeho Hwang, the title will make use of the DualSense's unique technologies: adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

Dave the Diver is a game that combines the adventure of ocean exploration and sushi restaurant management. Players can look forward to “captivating” narrative, characters, and minigames.

Gameplay focuses on preparing the menu and serving respectable dishes. But it doesn't stop there: players will participate in mini-games such as a cooking competition, a musical rhythm game, and even a seahorse race.

Dave the Diver arrives directly to PS5 on PS Plus Extra and Deluxe, after debuting some time ago on other platforms. The title was released in June 2023 on PC and in October of the same year on Nintendo Switch.

Ten PS Plus Extra and Deluxe games will leave in April

With Dave the Diver and other games arriving on PS Plus Extra and Deluxe in the middle of this month, some games are saying goodbye to the service. In the coming days, ten games are scheduled to leave the catalog and will only be available via purchase on the PS Store. Find out what it is by clicking here!
