A new PS5 update is available online and players will be able to use more dynamic methods to invite friends to matches. In addition, several improvements have been made to the system.

This firmware is compatible with version 24.05-09.60.00 and is available for download now. The patch notes have been released on the official PlayStation website and you can check them all out below:
New update for PS5
- You can invite other players to game sessions by sharing the session URL.
- To invite other players, open the game session action card and select Share link. Then scan the QR code with your mobile device to share the link.
- This feature is only available for open sessions that anyone can join.
- This feature will be gradually available to all players by July 24th.
- Voice command now lets you open game help action cards by saying “show game help”.
- Voice Commands (Preview) is currently available in English only for players with PlayStation Network accounts in the US and UK.
- We have improved the performance and stability of system software.
- We've updated the device software for some DualSense wireless controllers to improve stability.
- We've improved messaging and usability on some screens.
