cHundreds of passengers were stranded on Tuesday in the Eurotunnel tunnel linking the UK with France. They all took about six hours to reach their destination, the British city of Folkestone.

The track is about 50 km long and takes about 35 minutes to complete. According to the British news agency, the train journey, which set off in the French city of Calais, took about 10 minutes before it was interrupted. “We arrived on the 3:50 pm flight, and ten minutes later the lights went out and the train stopped. We were told they needed to investigate a problem with the wheels.”The Guardian quoted one of the passengers as saying. “It took about an hour and a half for them to see what was going on, and they obviously didn’t find anything”Follow Michael Harrison.

“After waiting, we left via an alternative emergency tunnel. We walked about ten minutes to another train. This train also stopped, probably due to a lack of traction”Explanation of the same passenger.
