Focusing on the 2022 Formula 1 season, McLaren has posted on its social media an image of the new car model that will be used in this year’s world championship.

Adopted by the British team since 2018, papaya orange continues to be the dominant color on the MCL36. However, the novelty is the use of blue in some parts of the car.

Another detail that caught fans’ attention was the blue coloration on the wheels in contrast to the yellow stripes on the tires, with the manufacturer’s trademark stamping on all four wheels.

After many years of not having a competitive car to fight for titles, McLaren expects to do well this year. Changes to the regulations promise to make the competition more balanced, with less distance between teams.

The team is following up with the drivers Daniel Ricciardo from Australia. And Lando Norris from the United Kingdom. The Formula 1 World Championship begins on March 20 with the Bahrain Grand Prix.
