Mayon reflects on the birth of her firstborn, Romeo, who suffers from the autism spectrum. “I lived in a time of arrogance. I thought I had it all, and that my life was perfect. “And God gave me a gift I never expected: an autistic son. No one kneels down and prays for an autistic son, but it happens a lot.
