    Publisher Gaza Das Letras announced this Friday that the biography of United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will be published in the United States and the United Kingdom in 2022, entitled “The World Does Not Have to Be This Way”.

    The book, now in its third edition in Portugal, will be published in English on May 26 in Rhino United under the title “Honest Broker: Biography of Antonio Guterres” (“Honest Broker: Biography of Antonio Guterres”, Portuguese). Available during the summer at major US bookstores, published by Hearst Publishers.

    In an interview with Lusa in April, the authors, Pedro Lodoiro and Philippe Dominguez, said they wanted to give the reader the freedom to reflect on the autobiography “educational analysis, value judgments or preconceived notions” and to reflect on it through stories and chapters. The personality of Antonio Guterres and the type of decisions made in his path, which is not free from criticism, errors or contradictions.

    The UN Secretary-General spoke to the authors four times and accessed his personal photo archive.
