Workers who work regularly under a formal contract can receive many benefits. One of them is the creation of FGTS. This method acts as a kind of savings for the employee.

During the coronavirus pandemic, the government did not have the means to provide assistance payments to all residents of the country, so one way out was to create programs that offered withdrawals directly from the FGTS.

    Anniversary withdrawal

One of the methods created during the period of financial difficulties faced by the state was Christmas plunder. In this service the worker can withdraw payments of specified amounts every year in the month of birth.

Therefore, through 2022, there are still four more withdrawals available directly from FGTS accounts.

In this way, those born during September, October, November and December can get a relatively high value. However, it is important to remember that this payment can only be withdrawn if a person has a certain amount in the fund.

It is also important to say that this payment is not mandatory. Meaning, people interested in receiving must join the program to start receiving values.

Another point is that people who decide to have this kind of method should pay attention to the rules. This is because when you start participating in this service, the worker will not be able to access the amounts offered at the time of dismissal without good reason.

In this case, only 40% of the fine equivalent to the termination of the contract with the employer will be paid. However, it is important to note that an employee can continue to receive Christmas plunder premiums each year in the month in which they were born.

    How to receive the payment

Those interested in starting to participate in the Christmas spoils payment should request the payment online. To do this, simply access the Meu FGTS application that can be downloaded on Android: https://bit.ly/3b1DoxB or iOS: https://apple.co/31J84tJ.

Then, just click on the “Drag Anniversaries” option and then “Drag Anniversaries Mode”. Finally, it is important to click on “Opt for Anniversary Loot”.

It should be noted that amounts can be released even in the same year of membership, however, it is important that the application is made up to the last working day of the month in which the person was born. If the operation takes place at a later time, it will be received only in the following year.

When making this change, it is important that the user remain associated with the program for at least two years.
