    The government also decided that more than half of the FGTS budget approved for the Urban Development Program (Pró-Cidades) in 2024 will be allocated to the public sector.

    • south: 240 million Brazilian reals

    In addition, FGTS resources will be used for loans for sanitation measures under the Growth Acceleration Program (New PAC).

    According to the standard, Caixa needs to invest up to R$6 billion to contract credit operations under the Saneamento para Todos programme, available from the first business day in 2024.
