iPhone, like any other electronic device, comes with its own quirks. Anonymous. With different functions, these shortcuts can make a big difference in the experience of different users.

    1. Click on the back feature.

Since the iOS 14 update, users have been able to enable a feature called “Tap Back.” With it, you simply double or triple tap the back of your iPhone to initiate certain actions, such as opening the camera, taking screenshots, or even activating Siri. To activate, go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Touch.

    2. One-handed mode

To make one-handed use easier, iPhone comes with Easy Reach. When enabled in Settings > Accessibility > Touch, you can swipe down from the bottom of the screen to move top items to the middle, making them easier to reach with one vertical hand.

    3. Real-time text with camera

Starting with iOS 15, Live Text lets you capture and interact with text using your iPhone camera. By pointing your camera at any text, your device will recognize the content and let you copy, paste, translate, or even search the web.

    4. Hide pages on the home screen

For a more organized Home screen, you can hide entire pages of apps without uninstalling them. Tap an empty area on the Home screen, tap the dots near the bottom, and select the circle above the page you want to hide.

    5. Interactive Widgets

Widgets get a major update in iOS 16, making them interactive. You can add widgets to your Home screen that let you perform actions directly, like controlling your music, checking your calendar, or accessing notes, all without having to open apps.

    6. Limit screen time

Timers, popular for helping to limit cell phone usage, allow users to set a maximum usage time for specific apps. To activate, go to Settings > Usage Time > App Limits and choose the apps and duration you want.

    7. “Focus” mode.

Finally, Focus mode, introduced in iOS 15, lets users customize notifications and apps for different times of the day.

Also recommended for those studying at home, it is possible to create specific modes for work, entertainment or sleep, and filter which notifications you want to receive and which apps can be accessed.

To configure, go to Settings > Focus and customize to your needs.
