The news came from the newspaper “The Times” that Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are the clubs that pledge to fight for the England midfielder next summer. At the start of the season, the Hammers asked for 100 million pounds (117 million Brazilian reals at the time) to sell the athlete.

If he left West Ham for that amount, Declan Rice would become the country’s most expensive signing, surpassing Jack Grealish at Manchester City, traded for £100m. The second on the list is the Belgian Romelu Lukaku, who returned to Chelsea for £97.5m (115 million Rls at the time).

This season, Declan Rice played 32 times for West Ham, scoring four goals and providing four assists. The shirt number 41, which was revealed by the London team, made his debut in May 2017, and since then he has made 177 appearances for the Hammers. He scored nine goals and made nine assists.
