This Monday (29) is the deadline for Independent Cargo Carriers (TAC) to submit a self-declaration of registration term to receive the Truck Driver-TAC Benefit. Anyone who self-certifies by Monday will receive the first two installments on September 6th.

After this period, truck drivers are only entitled to the allowance for the month in which the self-permit is carried out, provided that other legal requirements are met. In this case, the payment will not be made retroactively.

Professionals with “active” status on the National Road Carriers’ Register (RNTR-C), of the National Road Transport Agency (ANTT), must file a self-certification, but do not have a record of road freight transports this year.

The first installments from Truck Driver-TAC Benefit were paid to independent cargo carriers whose RNTR-C was in effect on May 31, 2022 and in “active” status on July 27, 2022. In addition, the carrier had to have registration with the National Transport Agency Overland (ANTT) for the overland carriage of goods carried out from 1 January 2022 to 27 July 2022.

All professionals who do not fit into this position have notification in the DOL systems and will be able to use the folder channels for self-certification work. Access can be done through the Emprega Brasil portal or through the Digital Work Card app.

In the self-declaration, the truck driver must state his employer that he meets the legal requirements for benefits and is able to carry out, on a regular basis, the transportation of goods on the roads. It will also be necessary to inform the National Vehicle Registry (Renavam) of vehicles registered with ANTT.

In the first installment, on August 9, more than 190,000 truck drivers were entitled to the first two payment installments, referring to the months of July and August.
