    Coble (CPLE6) announced on Wednesday evening the 18th the results of the 2023 Program Voluntary Separation (PDV). 1,437 subscriptions were made based on an evaluation that took into account the financial and maintenance aspects of its operations.

    According to Koppel, the estimated cost of compensation is R$441 million. Each eligible employee will also receive the FGTS penalty amount, plus monthly health plan-related support and food assistance, for 12 months.

    Therefore, the total estimated cost of the programme, including compensation and additional costs, is R$610 million, and will be recognized in 2023.

    Monetary damages and FGTS fine will be disbursed at the time of each employee’s dismissal.

    Koppel stressed that the estimated annual savings, on the current basis, amount to R$428 million from layoffs, which will occur during a transition period until August 2024, with exceptions that will be evaluated by the company in order to ensure knowledge management. the organization.
