    China's top political adviser vows to strengthen exchanges with UK parties

    Wang Huning, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met on Thursday with a group of United Kingdom Members of Parliament from the Conservative Party and Labor Party who came to China for the 12th China. UK Leadership Forum.

    Wang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said China attaches great importance to relations with the United Kingdom, highlighting that China is leading Chinese modernization with high-quality development.     According to Wang, the CPC is ready to continue various exchanges with the Conservative Party and the Workers' Party, improve mutual understanding and bridge differences, and help create an environment for the development of bilateral relations. “The CPPCC is ready to make a positive contribution to the above-mentioned initiatives,” he noted.

    David Lidington, Chairman of the Britain-China Center and former Cabinet Minister, along with other members of the group, noted that the visit to China gave them a better understanding of China's development and learned more about opportunities for cooperation between the two countries. .

    They expressed the delegation's readiness to bring more people from all sectors to the United Kingdom to learn more about China and promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields.
