WhatsApp is the most popular messaging app in Brazil. In recent years, users are getting more and more interesting features that help with the experience, such as deleting messages.

Usefully, the function allows users to remove media from the conversation in case of mistransmission or discomfort. However, what many feel is that their messages could be read anyway.

Can others view a message deleted from me?

First, understand that deleted messages, as long as they are ever deleted, will not be able to be heard or seen by others in the conversation. To be more precise, there is no official feature that allows you to view an already deleted message.

However, some users turn to the cell phone’s notification history to find out which message has been deleted. Generally, some third party applications are notorious for allowing the user to satisfy this curiosity. As it turns out, they can include regular deleted messages that went through notifications at some point.

Warning: Do not download pirated versions of WhatsApp

Some pirated versions of our beloved messenger have become popular, although they are not official. In their features, some of them allowed to view deleted stories and other messages that users have deleted.

Although attractive, however, as shown, its installation is not secure. Always beware of apps that are downloaded outside of the default stores. Above all, they can pose cyber risks to users and their devices.

Moreover, until a few months ago, some users on social networks reported that they were temporarily banned from WhatsApp for using suspicious versions.

Finally, don’t be fooled by versions that offer new features and functions that are not even available in the original version. Therefore, always prioritize the safest option to avoid bigger problems in the future.
