National Agency for Complementary Health (ANS) suspended 12 health plans from six operators. (See the list at the end of the post). The decision was based on complaints about assistance coverage. The measure goes into effect next Monday, the 22nd, when those plans can no longer be commercialized.
The decision is part of the agency’s oversight, which regularly monitors the sector’s performance.

The ANS reports that 83,286 beneficiaries will be affected by this measure. “These plans can only be marketed back to new customers if operators demonstrate an improvement in their monitoring score,” he said in a note.
