Also at stake for Serrano will be a rematch with Katie Taylor, who narrowly beat Puerto Rico by decision last April to remain the undisputed lightweight champion.
If Serrano, 34, can outsmart Cruz in New York — where she lost to Taylor in the biggest women’s fight of all time — she will likely have a rematch with the Irishman in Dublin in May.
In Saturday’s co-main event, Alicia Baumgardner defends the featherweight belt against Elhim Mokhled.

Cyrano vs. Cruz will take place Saturday, February 4th at the Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The main card is scheduled to start at 1:00 AM BST on Sunday, February 5 (5:00 PM PT, 7:00 PM ET, 8:00 PM ET on Saturday). Walks in the main ceremony are expected to take place around 3:00 AM BST (7:00 PM PT, 9:00 PM ET, 10:00 PM ET on Saturday).
