A 37-year-old woman from Chesapeake, Virginia (USA) was accused of sexually assaulting twins after her husband caught her half-naked with one of the teenagers. The case came to light this week, causing an uproar in the local community.
The incident involving the woman, identified as Ashley Watts, occurred in July, when the teenager in question was missing. After investigations, the police raided Watts’ home, where they found her without a bra. The sudden discovery revealed that the young man was hiding in a small space, wearing only underwear.
“While removing the mattress from one of the rooms upstairs, the police saw a young man of Caucasian origin hiding in the room. The police later asked this person, who was only wearing shorts, if he was communicating with the missing young man, to which he replied in the affirmative. The twin brothers, who lived across the street, were friends with Ashley’s son, who was the same age. Court documents highlight that the relationship between the two teenagers existed before.
And the development of the investigation began when, last February, an anonymous informant claimed the existence of an alleged sexual relationship between the woman and the young men, adding that Watts approached the minors under the pretext of praying together.
The situation reached a tipping point when, in the same month, Ashley’s husband returned home in the wee hours of the morning and was confronted with the sudden sight of his half-naked wife on the sofa, next to one of the teenagers who appeared to be sleeping. Later, the woman confessed the events to the investigators in charge of the case.
