No Man's Sky was released very unfinished in 2016, and continues to prove that its team was not lying when they said they would give great dedication to the project. Hello Games presented on Wednesday (17) the first details of patch 5.0, which promises to completely change the way the game worlds are created.

Known as Worlds Part 1, it is the latest update to the game. The planets promise new images and many new species of plants, animals and technologies.Game director Sean Murray says Hello Games has been able to make great strides recently and introduce elements that many fans considered impossible.

With the update, No Man's Sky's planets not only gain more vibrant oceans, but also debut a new wind pattern system. This will enrich the space adventure's dynamic weather system, which also gains more realistic volumetric and atmospheric effects.

Furthermore, the worlds of No Man's Sky will gain new creatures, which promise to be much more diverse than those available so far. To combat the new invasions of giant insects that are expected to inhabit some planets, players will also find a new mecha with heavy armor and a flamethrower built into one of its arms.

Continuing its dedication to space exploration, Hello Games has already begun developing its new project Light No Fire. It should benefit greatly from the lessons learned from No Man's Sky, offering an open world that promises to be similar in size to the real Earth.
