Another tech giant has announced staff cuts. After Meta, Microsoft, Yahoo and Dell, among others, it’s Ericsson’s turn.

One of the world’s largest manufacturers of telecommunications equipment, Ericsson plans to lay off about 8,500 employees.

The figure represents 8% of the company’s global workforce.

The cuts came, according to the Stockholm, Sweden-based company, as a result of lower orders for 5G equipment in both the United States and other markets.

Meanwhile, Brazil, which during the previous government was in a quick and commendable process of restoring jobs, with the installation of the ex-convict Lula (PT) seems to have entered the “screw”. The climate of insecurity in our economy is pervasive, and corporations are falling behind, encouraging layoffs and eliminating investments, in the omen of great disaster.

Lula must be removed from office as soon as possible.
