Alex Wares -
Managing Director
Alex joined the Mediarun Group in 2006, spearheading the expansion of the search marketing business in the UK & Europe. Prior to joining Mediarun, Alex spent 4 years at Andalucia.com, one of Spain’s largest information website, where he was responsible for architecting the web services and SEO division, driving revenue generation across the portal and delivering profitability.
Alex’s clear visions and direction has provided Mediarun Search with the trajectory necessary to establish itself, within a short period, as one of the leading performance search marketing companies in the UK. Achieving a 100% year on year growth in 07-08 is testament to Alex’s strong leadership skills. Mediarun continues to go from strength to strength; it has become the preferred partner to some of London’s most successful and innovative advertising and interactive agencies.

Anant Swarup - Director Strategy & Planning
Anant founded Mediarun Search, a search specialist arm of media buying agency Mediarun limited, in 2004. He joined the group after completing his MSc in Business Systems, launching a unique servicing methodology, which focuses on providing performance driven search solutions for advertisers.
Anant provides the driving force for instilling creativity and innovation at Mediarun, along with ensuring the delivery of solutions with the highest return on investment for clients. He has personally been involved in developing complex search strategies for many companies including STA Travel, The Macfarlane Group, JackpotJoy, DAMAC Properties and The Mirror.
